It's crazy how much things can change in a pretty short period of time. About two months ago my cousin almost died of a crazy staff infection, had to get part of his skull removed. About two weeks ago they replaced that missing part of his skull with some crazy stuff thats stronger than bone. And tonight I went to the Newport Film Festival so watch his video premiere. I'm glad things got better so quick, he had toooons of support, shirts that said "Pray for timmy" on sale in surfshops, wristbands, a huge benifit thing where they raised tons of money for the insane bills from the hospital. It sucks that it had to happen to him but Im glad he's better. The video is called "The Tsunami Diaries" and its a documentary of him helping out with the aftermath of the tsunami in Indo. It was really good. It's really crazy seeing all the people that had been through so much so quick, still be able to smile and laugh. Some stuff was intense, a baby that burned 60% of his body. It even had a dead body floating in the middle of the ocean, and a body that had become bones on the beach. I want to get the dvd when it comes out.

Sometimes the worste things happen and the absolute worste time. That is what happened today. Don't really want to go into full detail, but I almost lost a cousin today, and he's only like 25. Very scary stuff. And things could still be bad. Pray, thats all I did today. It'd be nice if you did too.

For the first time in I don't know how long, I have short hair. It feels really really nice. I like the way it looks and I'm glad theres no more hair all in my face. Went to my cousins wedding today, that was nice. Anyways, thats all.

Today has started off really nice. First of it's my birthday, that makes it cool right away. I didn't have to watch my little cousin today so I went to breakfast with my dad and my brother. My dad payed for that, and he took me to String Masters to get my guitar fixed...finally. Probably going to Filipi's for dinner, should be cool.

Stitches are lame, I guess I need to keep 4 in for another 10 days cause it didn't fully heal. So I was reading Calvin and Hobbes today and it made me feel really good, cause me and my friend Kevin Johnson loved those books when we were kids. There are so many messages I missed when I was a kid, about the world and stuff. Kind of crazy reading it now. Hmm, nothing else to say.

Oh yes, I just got back from getting 9 stitches on my left hand index finger, and I have this huge rap on it. Ok so heres what happened.
I was moving my computer and putting it down by the side of the desk. The computer case cliped off and the computer fell out of my hands and i guess caught my finger on the way down. I was like oh crap I dropped the computer and then my dad walked over and said what happened, and as he said that I looked at my finger, and blood started flowing out like crazy. So I said "Well, looks like I'm gonna need stitches" So I went to urgent care and it was packed, so I had to wait like 30 minutes...sucked. yeah so then they stitched it and wrapped it. It was pretty freaken deep.
